Our Own Version of Tacos con Puerco
Ingredients:
1 pound ground pork
4 pcs tomatoes, cut up
1/4 cup chopped onion
12 taco shells
1 to 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese for accompaniment
2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce for accompaniment
mayo and tomato sauce
Brown ground pork with onions and garlic for 10-15mins, season with salt and pepper; Portion filling into shells; top with, cheese tomatoes and lettuce. Serves 5.
...looks great? yeah.. we had tacos last night in our "said-to-be-small-group-ing". Call time is 7:30pm; but sadly, nobody came... except for us... well, may pasok na kasi ang mga bata, cant expect too much from them eh? so, we started eating around 8pm. We had some liver and beef and a fine colored orange rice. Although I had an appetite to eat, I've eaten rice already.. kaya naki subo nalang ako sa knila...masarap naman.. yeah! --> courtesy of Jep.
I ate 3 tacos -->huge appetite isn't it? I thought its ok because i filled my empty shell with lots of veggies.. plus plus tomato sauce.. drank Sprite and eaten almond jellies w chocolate-coated chip. wee.. that's too much for a night..
We rejoiced and mulled over the food the whole night because we were few(er). So to say, we were only 4 plus Bro. Tim. (happy am I that I saw him.. ) After we finished eating, watched NBA, then we went home.. (haha, di na kami nagpursue)
The night was peaceful with mist of rain.. I went to bed early on because I was a bit tired. After those goodnight text(s) and call(s), I plunged into bed.. My two brothers, after coming home, one left hurriedly with my parents, the other slept on the couch. As if we were all drunk and tired.. kung tutuusin, wala naman kaming ginawa.. we just ate the whole night.
I came home with a slight pain in the stomach.. My shoti too, but he was too tired to think of it nah, so he just slept. Then, I was able to sleep for a few hours.. but the pian bothered me in the middle of the night, so i got up, drank some medicine and yelled out. Very very bad.. would you imagine I was crying the whole night because of pain??? How weird.. But that's that. I knew it was soemthing Ive eaten. Gastric pain... and it really hurts. kung pwede nga lang ilabas lahat ng kinain ko e.. i would.. kahit na isuka ko pa.. its feels like dying... and its killing me softly. I intended to call them up to check if they have stomach pains.. gees, if so, BAD TACOS talaga.. (sinisi daw ba sa fud.. :p) Well, after few rounds of crying, praying, pleading, i passed out. at nakatulog ako ng walang kahirap hirap... Great isn't it? and so I learned my lesson --> tacos are bad! hehehe
Well, this morning, I still havent checked on them yet. But hopefully, all of them who ate tacos didnt get much of that fuzz. After all, I enjoyed spending my night with those dear brothers.
sige na, I have to study pa.. and sleep!
